بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ثم ليس المقصود من إنكار المولد نقصًا في حب النبي عليه الصلاة والسلام لا، بل هو أحب إلينا وإلى أهل السنة من آبائهم وأمهاتهم وأنفسهم عليه الصلاة والسلام، حتى قال عليه الصلاة والسلام: لا يؤمن أحدكم حتى أكون أحب إليه من ولده ووالده والناس أجمعين، وقال عمر مرة : يا رسول الله! لأنت أحب إلي من كل شيء إلا من نفسي فقال: يا عمر لا حتى أكون أحب إليك من نفسك فقال: أنت أحب إلي من كل شيء حتى من نفسي، فقال: الآن يا عمر فأهل السنة يؤمنون بأن الرسول ﷺ أحب إليهم من كل شيء بعد الله فأحب شيء إلى أهل السنة الله وحده جل وعلا، ثم النبي ﷺ هو أحب الناس إليهم فوق محبة النفس والمال والولد، ثم الأنبياء بعده عليهم الصلاة والسلام، فنحن على ذلك، نحن على طريقهم، نشهد الله أنه أحب إلينا من كل شيء بعد الله، نشهد الله أنه أحب إلينا من كل شيء من أنفسنا وأموالنا وأولادنا وكل شيء، والله لو أنه شرع ذلك لسارعنا إليه ودعونا عليه الصلاة والسلام والله لو شرع ذلك لدعونا إليه ولشرعنا إليه وكتبنا فيه الكتابات الكثيرة، ولكنه ما شرع ذلك ولا فعله ولا فعله أصحابه، ولكن اليوم عدو الناس من نهاهم عن عوائدهم، عدو الناس من نهاهم عن عوائدهم وأباطيلهم التي اعتادوها، وإذا نهاهم عن باطل وعن بدعة قالوا: هذا يبغض النبي، هكذا قالوا للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لما دعاهم النبي لتوحيد الله والإخلاص له قالوا: محمد يبغض عيسى ابن مريم، قالوا: يبغض عيسى لأنه نهى عن عبادة عيسى عليه الصلاة والسلام وهكذا الدعاة من قديم الزمان إذا دعوا إلى توحيد الله قالوا هؤلاء يبغضون الصالحين ولا يحبون الصالحين؛ لأنهم قالوا: لا تعبدونهم مع الله، حبهم باتباع الطيب باتباع اخلاقهم الطيبة وبالأخذ بأعمالهم الطيبة هذا حبهم، فحب النبي ﷺ باتباعه، والسير على منهاجه، وتعظيم سنته، والدعوة إلى ذلك، والذب عنها، هذا هو حبه عليه الصلاة والسلام قُلْ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللَّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ [آل عمران:31] حتى نشر بعضهم الآن نشر بعض الناس من أهل الأغراض من طريق لندن ومن غيرها في إذاعات كثيرة قالوا عني: إني أرى أن الاحتفال كفر وضلال، وقالوا: هذه جفاء في حق النبي عليه الصلاة والسلام، سبحانك هذا بهتان عظيم، ما قلت: إنه كفر، إنما قلت: إنه بدعة في الدين حدثت في الدين ما أنزل الله بها من سلطانه، ثم قد يقع فيها أنواع من الكفر، قد يقع فيه من الفاعلين قد يقع من الفاعلين أنواع من الكفر، من عبادة الرسول ﷺ، ودعوة والاستغاثة به، والنذر له، كل هذا من أنواع الكفر، ولكن أهل الباطل وأهل الأهواء لا يعلمون ولا يشعرون، ويفترون الكذب وهم عامدون، نسأل الله العافية https://binbaz.org.sa/old/3027 Then the aim from rejecting the Mawlid is not to decrease the love for the Prophet, عليه الصلاة والسلام, but rather he is more beloved to us and to Ahlul-Sunnah than their fathers, mothers, and themselves, عليه الصلاة والسلام. Even he [ie. the Prophet], عليه الصلاة والسلام, said: "None of you believes until I am more beloved to you than your son, your father, and all mankind", and 'Umar once said: "O Messenger of Allaah! You are more beloved to me than everything except myself". So he [the Prophet] said: "O 'Umar, not until I am more beloved to you than yourself". So he ['Umar] said: "You are more beloved to me than everything [after Allaah], even myself". He said: "Now O 'Umar". So Ahlul-Sunnah believe that the Messenger ﷺ is more beloved to them than everything after Allaah. So the most beloved thing to Ahlul-Sunnah is Allaah alone Glorified and Exalted, then the Prophet ﷺ is the most beloved of people to them above the love of oneself, money, and children, then the [other] Prophets after him, عليهم الصلاة والسلام. So we are upon that, we are upon their path. [Shaykh Bin Baaz pauses and cries] We bear witness to Allaah that he [the Prophet ﷺ] is dearer to us than everything else after Allaah, we bear witness to Allaah that he [the Prophet ﷺ] is more beloved to us than everything [after Allaah], from ourselves, our money, our children, and everything [after Allaah]. By Allaah, if he had legislated that [ie. the Mawlid], we would have hastened to it and invited [people] to it عليه الصلاة والسلام. By Allaah, if he had legislated that, we would have invited [people] to it, and we would have legislated it and written many writings about it. But he did not legislate that, nor did he do it, nor did his companions do it. But today the enemy of people is he who forbids them from their customs. The enemy of people is he who forbids them from their customs and falsehoods that they are accustomed to. And when he forbids them from falsehood and innovation, they say: "This one hates the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم", the same way they [ie. the Christians] said to the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, when the Prophet called them to the Oneness of Allaah and to be sincere [in worship] to Him. They [ie. the Christians] said: "Muhammad hates Jesus son of Mary." They said: "He hates Jesus because he forbade the worship of Jesus عليه الصلاة والسلام". And the same way, the preachers from ancient times, when they called for the Oneness of Allaah, they [ie. people] said, “These people hate the righteous and do not love the righteous.” Because they [ie. the preachers] said: "Do not worship them with Allaah". Loving them [ie. the righteous] is by following what is good, by following their good morals, and by adopting their good deeds, this is loving them. The love of the Prophet ﷺ is by following him, walking in his path, glorifying his Sunnah, calling to that, and defending it, this is loving him عليه الصلاة والسلام. 'Say, [O Muhammad], "If you should love Allah, then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."' [آل عمران:31] [The people of desires would lie] up until the point that now some of them spread... some of the people of [bad] goals, from London and elsewhere, spread [lies on me] on many radio broadcasts, they said about me: "I [ie. Shaykh bin Baaz] see that celebrating [the Mawlid] is disbelief and misguidance", and they said: "This is repulsion against the right of the Prophet عليه الصلاة والسلام". Glory be to You [O Allaah], this is a great slander. I did not say: "It is kufr", I only said: "It is an innovation in the religion, introduced in the religion for which Allaah has sent no authority". Then types of disbelief may occur in it, and some of the doers [who celebrate the Mawlid] may fall into it. Different types of disbelief may occur among the doers, such as worshiping the Messenger ﷺ, calling upon him and seeking help from him (by doing Istighaathah), vowing to him, all of this are from the types of disbelief. But the people of falsehood and the people of desires do not know and they do not perceive, and they invent lies while being deliberate. We ask Allaah for well-being.
