Wiping over 2 layers of socks? [Sa’eed Rhana]

I wanted to ask regarding wiping over the socks for wudhu. As it is very cold and winter is coming up, sometimes I will wear 2 layers of socks, would I need to remove the top layer of socks to make wiping over the socks for wudhu valid? Or can I wipe over the socks while having both layers on and the wudhu being valid?
